Probably my favorite skit of the morning...entitled "The Stool" this drama showed the confusion we face when we say that we are giving EVERYTHING to Jesus, and letting Him make the decisions...but what happens when we do not agree or even like His decisions is that we back up and take the control. Sometimes without even realizing we have done so. This hit home with me because I have been struggling through my tendency to be a control freak. I feel like I pray over and over again, promising to let go and let Him have His way...only to find myself down a road some time later wishing I had followed His lead. It is not enough to make a grand gesture or to SAY that we surrender...we really have to LET GO!

After church D and I went to Grandma F's 75th Birthday party! It was fun and she was BEAUTIFUL. I admire her so much for the strength she has had through the past months. She truly is a BEATIFUL woman with a BEAUTIFUL faith!
